In the end, she won an opportunity to play Naomi at the Battleground show's pre-show. Ariana won over Naomi in this match. The result was that their rivalry started. In the summer of 2010 the two wrestlers competed against one with each other in a variety of singles and handicap events in addition to tag team fights.
